An old tree-lined lane, part of the Lochside Trail off the Pat Bay Highway, Victoria BC.
It's been painted in the bravura style made famous by plein air painters of California.
Although the scene is my own here I am aware of the translucent colors of Edgar Payne,
the great American artist and teacher who has had a big influence on my recent work.
