Ron works in pencil, pen and ink, watercolour and oils. He paints portraits, figures, wildlife,
landscapes and seascapes. His works have been exhibited in galleries in Sidney BC, Calgary AB
in Canada and in Friday Harbor, Washington State USA, and in South Africa.

Ron was born of British parents in South Africa in 1939. From 1959 he painted part-time
while working for over thirty years for the South African Broadcasting Corporation
in radio and TV -- first as an announcer and later as the Head of TV1 (English).
In June 1992 he moved to Canada and turned to painting full-time. Between 2000 and early 2004
Ron worked in the United States of America, painting scenes of San Juan Island.
Ron is a Canadian resident in Victoria BC.
