It rained and rained at Cattle Point, the wind blew my umbrella (almost) inside out,
but I did a soggy pencil sketch and took photographs so that I could paint this stormy scene
in the comfort of the studio! I marvelled at the quality of the light and the shaggy clouds.
Best of all, the wind swept up the water and made for some painterly texture.
