This is what locals call the top of the mountain where the Astrophysical Observatory
has been built in Greater Victoria BC. This view faces North from the observatory.
Through painting en plein-air we (The group of artists called the Al Frescoes)
visit many fascinating places on Vancouver Island. Plein-air painting is
the people's art, it is quick and affordable because the painting is done on-the-spot.
